The course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and information on the standards and rules governing Integrated Management and Organic Agriculture respectively, as well as their certification. Upon completion of the course, it is expected that students will be able to understand the importance of certification of agricultural products in the modern market as well as the development of agricultural product quality into a distinct scientific field/profession, to understand the basic and critical characteristics of agricultural product quality systems, their connection with the required certification procedures and their general interconnection with the marketing and promotion of agricultural products, to develop and apply the principles of quality assurance and certification of agricultural products, and to understand the importance of the certification of agricultural products in the modern market and the development of the quality of agricultural products into a distinct scientific field/profession.
